Getting new items in the Cataclysm expansion can be tough because everything is so expensive, but luckily we have a few helpful tips to getting the most from your gold right now. Let us guide your way...
- Raw materials sell high! Concentrate in the beginning on your herbalist and miner, as it will be far more profitable for you later on in the game while everyone else is scrambling to afford the items they need. Use your skills from our WoW auction house guide to your advantage!
- Use the new Cataclysm mobile features to keep a close eye on your auctions so that you can stay ahead of the other players. Sell in a continous cycle, but only lower your prices when needed. There will always be someone trying to undercut you, but that's ok...hold out for more profit instead!
- Have your alchemist ready! As players raid the newest dungeons, you should be prepared to sell them the pots and elixirs they will need (and at premium prices too, of course!). High level mats from Wrath like Titanium will command the highest prices from those who did not finish leveling the professions, and now they want to do so in a hurry. Plan ahead and work on your gathering skills!
- The value of gear drops: You'll pick these up as you go through the latest zones and will be quite valuable because of all the new enchants and the chanters will need to disenchant those to get the shards to create them. Again, use your knowledge to think ahead!
